The Gretsch G5230T Electromatic Jet FT is a powerhouse solidbody electric guitar equipped for a dynamic playing experience. This single cutaway brings 65 years of Jet power into play while maintaining signature Gretsch definition, articulation and style.
The G5230T Electromatic Jet FT has a chambered mahogany body that reduces weight while maintaining a resonant tone. A laminated maple top produces a smooth high end, giving the guitar a well-balanced sound. The G5230T’s anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge allows for precise intonation, while the iconic Bigsby B50 tailpiece brings expressive vibrato effects to your playing.
Featuring a mahogany neck with a thin "U" profile, the G5230T is comfortable and fast playing for rhythm or lead tones. The laurel fingerboard provides a smooth surface for easy navigation up and down the 22 medium jumbo frets, while a 12" fingerboard radius offers the right amount of curvature for comfortable chording and breezy bending.
Equipped with black top Filter'Tron humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck positions, the G5230T delivers a wide range of powerful tones with excellent clarity and definition, sure to cut through a mix. The expansive layout of controls includes a volume knob for each pickup, a master volume, and a master tone control, allowing for precise adjustments to your sound. The 3-position toggle switch gives you easy access to the guitar’s three different pickup combinations.
This Gretsch G5230T Electromatic Jet FT comes with chrome hardware, classic G-Arrow control knobs, a silver pickguard, and a highly recognizable Bigsby tailpiece to complement the gloss, black finish.
