Stockholm City Hall was the first place Ive visited for sightseeing in Stockholm in April 2025. It was very pleasant to watch the view from that point. “BatVader at the Stockholm City Hall” (Stadshuset) BatVader is a character I've created who is a mixture of Batman and Darth Vader. Stockholm City Hall was the first place I’ve visited for sightseeing in Stockholm in April 2025. It was very pleasant to watch the view from that point. This work is a painting of one of the photos I’ve taken there. There is an arch shape and BatVader is looking towards the light from a darker spot. He is leaning against a strong column - getting strength from it, arms crossed, feeling slighly relaxed, just watching, observing and thinking. Kind of a representation of looking at the bright future. You can see Södermalm across the shore, Riddarholmen Church/ Riddarholmen area, Stockholm Cathedral and statue of Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson. I’ve finished this painting before my 2nd visit to Stockholm in July 2025 and it was so pleasant to see Stockholm, the City Hall and re-see this view again from this spot. Hope to see you again, Stadshuset.
