Fully reversible, it is a collection of textures that enhance one another ~ made all the more striking because they are knitted on the bias. The frequent changes in stitch pattern keep the project engaging from beginning to end.

Although the pattern calls for fingering-weight yarn, sport and dk-weight yarns will work beautifully too. So choose a lovely solid or semi-solid yarn that will show off the variety of textures, and enjoy yourself as this elegant scarf takes shape in your hands.  Available in 3 lengths.  Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Pure 100% Merino Superwash by Rohrspatz & Wollmeise (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 150g/574yds): 2 (2, 2) Skeins.

ALTERNATE YARN: Sock by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/420yds): 2 (3, 3) Skeins.  Sock is a kettle-dyed yarn that contains variegation within the strands.  This will create a lovely mottled effect in the finished knit.  Due to recommendations of the designer, highly variegated colors are not offered in this kit.

ALTENATE YARN: O-Wash Fingering by O-Wool (100% Machine Washable Certified Organic Merino Wool; 100g/428 yds): 2 (3, 3) Skeins.  O-Wash Fingering is spun and dyed in the USA using low impact dyes (solid colors) and environmentally safe practices.  The organic wool is not superwashed, but rather treated with a GOTS certified compound that locks the fibers in place without the use of harsh methods or chemicals.  This process retains the original texture and characteristics of the wool.
