Just a couple of months after the release of Beat City Tubeworks re-mastered debut "I Just Cannot Believe It's the Incredible", the gasoline reeking boys from Jönköping, Sweden are back with a new full length. The album title, "Top Rock" speaks for itself. With the 10 brand new, top shelf rock 'n' roll tracks, Beat City Tubeworks takes the raw garage energy that was captured on their debut to a new level, making room for even more smoldering licks and memorable hooks. "Top Rock" will be released February 21st by The Sign Records, and will be available to enjoy on CD, vinyl and digital format. Beat City Tubework can best be described as energetic 70's influenced rock'n'roll / garage rock in it's true form and glory... On steroids! The songs delivers a raw catchiness, with blazing electric guitars, honky licks, and thoughtful melodic hooks! Add a captivating pulsebeat tight percussion, and some killer baselines, and characteristic vocals to that, and it all results in a big sound! In a genre where it's often hard not to draw clear similarities to classic rock'n'roll acts that we all got to know and love from the 70's, (and the new wave of bands in that genre in the 90's) Beat City Tubeworks still manages to pull off quite a unique sound of their own! Beat City Tubeworks was formed in the city of Jönköping, Sweden early 2015. Beat City Tubeworks has a reputation for being a superb live act, and deliver great performances. The band have shared the stage with acts as Danko Jones, Giuda, The Nomads, Deadheads and Vojd. This is when the band really comes to adopt it's true shape, energy, and glowing spirit! Amazing ability to calm red, itchy skin but pricier than alternatives
When I saw this product, I was a bit skeptical. I have extremely dry skin that’s prone to red, itchy spots but it seemed unlikely a misty spray would be anywhere near as beneficial as the creams and ointments I’ve turned to over the years. Since I’ve used other COOLA products and really liked them, I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I tried it on a couple of red patches on my face. There’s an immediate feeling of cooling relief (which leads me to believe this would also be a great solution for a burn), but what I found amazing was the redness decreased significantly and immediately. After a few minutes, I was able to put on makeup, forgoing concealer on those spots. I also tried it on a red, itchy spot on my leg, again calming the itch and decreasing the redness. Just because it seemed unwise to start using hypochlorous acid, the active ingredient in this spray, knowing nothing about it, I did a bit of online research. Apparently, not only is it considered safe and recommended by dermatologists for eczema like conditions, it also is antibacterial and can be used to keep cuts clean and help them heal. I’m sold on the concept of this spray. My one hesitation is that it seems to be more expensive than other similar options – particularly when you do the math to determine cost per ounce. I am a real fan of the COOLA brand, but given that my skin is such that I’ll probably use this regularly, the cost differential may become prohibitive. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants it on hand for the occasional sunburn or blemish. For those like me who would benefit by using it once or more per day, while still singing its praises as to efficacy, I would have to qualify the recommendation due to price.

I’ve been using this COOLA Recovery+ Face Mist right after running, and it does wonders. After a run, my face usually looks flushed and feels a bit irritated from sweat and heat. A couple sprays of this helps tremendously. It provides an immediate cooling and refreshing feel without irritation. It really helps reduce that post run redness faster and it feels very gentle.
