Paired with the Vintage Tone System(VTS)-aged top, you get tone and style reminiscent of vintage instruments that have aged gracefully over many years.
The top of the 000-16 StreetMaster is crafted from Adirondack spruce, renowned for its exceptional tonal properties and enhanced with Martin's VTS aging process. This proprietary system ages the wood to perfection, resulting in a truly vintage sound that would typically take decades to develop. The back and sides are made from exquisite East Indian rosewood, adding depth, resonance, and a touch of elegance to the guitar's tonal palette.
The neck is made from mahogany, offering strength and stability while delivering a comfortable playing experience. Its modified low oval profile allows for easy maneuverability up and down the neck. The rosewood board features 20 frets and is expertly adorned with GE Diamond & Square abalone inlays.
The headstock is a solid square taper design and is equipped with Golden Age Relic Nickel tuning machines, providing precise and reliable tuning stability. The cream-colored knobs and script old-style overlay logo on the headplate exude a vintage charm that perfectly complements the overall aesthetic of the instrument.
