Using a scarifier twice-yearly (spring and autumn) will dramatically improve your lawn over time by allowing the grass to spread and grow stronger. Aerating the lawn improves the supply of nutrients to the soil. You can use a moss killer/lawn feed in conjunction with removing moss and thatch with a scarifier.
