In celebration of the first solid-body electric guitar crafted by Fender, the 70th Anniversary Esquire brings an aesthetically authentic and technologically accurate Fender experience into the modern day. Fender has taken directly from the original drawing board to craft the Esquire. Originally launched in the 1950, around 50 Esquire models were produced before being replaced by the Broadcaster, due to issues such as the absence of a truss rod. With the 70th anniversary Esquire guitar, Fender has put those issues in the past and given Fender fans a new and improved Esquire electric guitar, with truss rods and more.

Utilizing a lightweight Roasted Pine body paired with a one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, the Fender Esquire Guitar fits perfectly in hand as it has in decades passed. A lone Tim Shaw Designed Fender Esquire pickup produces an impressive Fender single-coil tone that is recognizable to musicians across generations while remaining a distinct Esquire feature.
