Brand: XYMOGEN

Features:

  • Supports overall bone strength and health with easy single-serving packets. Each packet provides the following bone supplements: two microcrystalline hydroxyapatite concentrate, calcium and vitamin D (cholecalciferol 1000 IU), vitamin K2 capsules + one capsule of choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid (ch-OSA).*
  • Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite concentrate (MCHC / calcium hydroxyapatite) is composed primarily of calcium, phosphorus, bioactive growth factors, type I collagen complex, amino acids, glycosaminoglycans, and a broad range of essential trace elements that naturally comprise healthy bone.*
  • Contains a choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid supplement, a clinically tested form of silicon. Silicon-dependent enzymes help synthesize collagen fibers and their surface acts as binding sites for the MCHC. The more surface area available to the MCHC, the more flexible the bone. This orthosilicic acid form can also support joint health.*
  • MCHC calcium's function is supported by vitamin d3 cholecalciferol and k2 vitamin supplement mk-7.*

Details: Xymogen OSAplex MK-7 (60 Packets)OSAplex MK-7 is a comprehensive, convenient, and cost-effective dietary supplement that supports healthy bones, cartilage, and ligaments. Each packet provides the following: two capsules containing a combination of microcrystalline hydroxyapatite concentrate (MCHC) from Ossopan 1100, vitamin d3 (as cholecalciferol) with calcium, and vitamin K2 mk-7 along with one capsule of choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid (ch-OSA).* Bone is composed of a calcium-based mineral complex and an organic material known as collagen. A somewhat flexible and fibrous protein, collagen appears to be a key factor in a bone’s ability to withstand sudden impact.* Unlike standard collagen capsules, OSAplex MK-7 contains choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid, a well-absorbed form of silicon that has been clinically tested. Silicon-dependent enzymes link together single chains of amino acids to synthesize collagen fibers. The surfaces of these collagen fibers act as the binding sites for the MCHC. The more surface area available to the MCHC to bind to, the more flexible the bone.* ch-OSA may act as a supportive bone and joint health supplement.* MCHC calcium hydroxyapatite, a proprietary, standardized, and safe-source bone extract from New Zealand bovine, contains a crystalline calcium and phosphorus matrix in the ideal physiological ratio of 2:1, plus bioactive growth factors and type I collagen. As a source of calcium, MCHC contributes to the production and maintenance of bone structure, a function supported by vitamins D3 and K2. Amino acids, glycosaminoglycans, and a broad range of essential trace elements are also present. Combine ch-OSA and MCHC with significant levels of vitamin d3 with k2 mk 7, and the result is a unique package that addresses quantity and quality of bone, and supports overall bone strength and health.* Supportive bone and joint health supplements for men and women.*

Important reading for every working woman!
Format: Hardcover
Let me start by saying that this isn't a genre I am normally drawn to. I usually am a fiction reader, but a trusted friend recommended this book so highly that I felt I should give it a chance. I'm so glad I put aside my hesitation, as I really feel this is a book that every woman in the American workforce should read. It is a fascinating primer in how we got where we are, and how much effort it took to gain even our somewhat compromised equality. While the legal issues involved can be a little complex, Thomas does an excellent job of breaking them down into straightforward concepts. I also really appreciated her ability to make the whole process of moving a case up through the Court of Appeals and eventually to the Supreme Court come to life. For those of us who are not in the legal profession, this process can seem mysterious, but this book made it easy to understand. By clearly and patiently laying out the facts of each case, Thomas also gives the reader the opportunity to test their own assumptions and think through the logic of the cases for themselves. For me, it was a fascinating opportunity to weigh my assumptions about my political leanings against my intellectual analysis of the facts, and I often surprised myself. All in all, I think this is an important book, and also a surprisingly accessible and engaging one. You will feel smarter and much more informed after reading it. And if you are a woman, you may well also feel grateful for those brave women (and men) who fought and struggled to make your experience in the workplace fairer.

Like a real-life legal thriller. Especially if you're thrilled by the progress we've made.
Format: Hardcover
This book, while deeply researched and rigorous, is the opposite of legalese. Thomas's vivid, thoughtful, witty storytelling reveals the real (and courageous) people behind the cases that made employment discrimination law what it is today. It shows not just the impact of law on people, but the impact of people on law. These women's struggles (and those of the advocates at their side) are both infuriating and inspiring. (That was me on the subway yelling at the book, alternating between "WHAT THE HELL?!" and "YOU GO, IDA!") Read it on the train, read it on the beach; just read it. I have a zillion friends with spring birthdays, not to mention my mom (who came of working age during this gender-siloed Mad-Men-tastic era) and I'm buying it for every single one.

A serious read about a very relevant, non-fiction topic... not a light hearted read.
Format: Kindle
A serious non-fiction, not a leisurely novel... very detailed, lots of research went into this, and a lot to be learned from reading thru it.. an excellent education of all that leads up to our Supreme Court,... and serious relevance to the 60’s, 70’s, up to now.... for many women.

Entertaining read
Format: Kindle
I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Excellent Details
Format: Kindle
If you're like me, you've probably either never heard of these cases or heard about them in only the broadest of strokes. For remedying that, this book is excellent. Thomas provides a detailed account of how these complaints came to be, how they wended their way through the cases, and why they are important in terms of outcome and legal precedent. This is a book that I'm glad to have read and one that I would highly recommend to others.
