Key Features:

  • Converts rusted surfaces to a hydrophobic passive layer.
  • Chelating agents and PVDC resins prevent further rusting.
  • Single component system.
  • Changes from white to dark brown/black as it cures.
  • Can be top coated with water-based and solvent-based topcoats.

Description:
Cortec® CorrVerter® is a fast drying, water-based one-coat system (primer) that converts rusted surfaces to a hydrophobic passive layer and prevents further rusting thru the unique formulation of chelating agents and PDVC resins. This is an ideal solution for situations where blasting is not an option due to site restriction or other limitations. It is formulated to penetrate and eliminate rust, penetrate to the bare metal and stop further rusting. Provides outstanding corrosion protection in salt spray conditions and excellent 5B adhesion to topcoats. It has the flexibility of being used with either water-based or solvent-based topcoat systems including urethanes, epoxies, acrylics, and alkyds.

Packaging:
Available in 1 gallon and 5 gallon pails. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF. Do not let the product freeze.

How to Use:
Mix thoroughly before use. Remove loose rust with a wire brush and wash the rusty steel surface with high-pressure water to remove excess salt contamination. Brush, roll, or spray CorrVerter® at 3-5 mils (75-125 microns) dry film thickness. Brush application is preferred to ensure penetration into the rust. The coating can be applied to dry or damp surfaces. The converter can be used as is or may be diluted up to 10% with water. For badly corroded surfaces, a second coat of CorrVerter® should be applied within 20-30 minutes to ensure maximum protection. Allow to air dry 12-24 hours before applying topcoat.

Typical Applications:
CorrVerter® is recommended for use on all ferrous metal surfaces as a rust converter/paint primer. The product can be used in situations where proper cleaning or sandblasting is difficult. Ideal for industrial maintenance, general metal, marine applications.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy to use and produces vibrant prints
This Hiipoo sublimation ink has been a fantastic upgrade for my EcoTank printer. The autofill bottles fit perfectly into the ink tanks - no syringes, no mess, and no wasted ink. Refilling is quick and hassle-free, which makes the whole process so much easier. The print quality is excellent. Colors come out bright, vivid, and crisp with great saturation and no fading. It transfers beautifully onto mugs, T-shirts, and tumblers, drying fast without smudges. I really appreciate that it works ICC-free, yet still delivers professional results. The ink is certified and feels reliable, and I’ve had zero clogging issues. Overall, this is a high-quality, easy-to-use sublimation ink that’s perfect for both hobby projects and small business use. Definitely recommend for anyone doing heat transfer printing.

Only Sublimation Ink for Me!!
I recently bought my second set of Hippo Sublimation Ink and continue to be thrilled with the results. This ink has proven to be a fantastic choice for my sublimation projects, delivering on all fronts. Hippo Sublimation Ink works exactly as promised. It sublimates effortlessly onto poly blend items, producing bright, vivid transfers every time. The colors are striking and true to the design, which is crucial for quality sublimation work. The results are consistently impressive, making this ink a reliable option for any project. One of the standout features is the great price. Hippo Sublimation Ink offers excellent value for money compared to other brands. Despite its affordability, it performs just as well—if not better—than more expensive options on the market. Using Hippo Ink in my Epson printer has been a breeze. The ink flows smoothly and doesn’t clog the printer, even after not being used for two weeks!!! I’ve had issues with other brands clogging my printer, leading to frustration and wasted time, not to mention all the maintenance puts wear and tear on the printer. With Hippo, there’s been no such problem, making it a hassle-free choice for sublimation printing. Hippo Sublimation Ink has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, price, and ease of use. It’s the only ink I will use in my printer from now on. If you’re looking for a high-quality sublimation ink that’s both affordable and reliable, Hippo is an excellent choice. It delivers bright, beautiful transfers and maintains smooth operation without any of the typical issues associated with other brands. Highly recommended!

Great for Sublimation!
I’m a bit new to sublimation and was worried about having dull colors, but this ink is doing wonders! The quality is great, I can adjust the amount on the printer and get the exact, rich, vibrant colors I want. (I found some recommended settings for brightness, contrast, etc… and then tweak the cyan, magenta, and yellow to the desired amount.) I definitely recommend getting this ink! It’s so easy to refill the printer (I have an Eco tank 15000). The cost is not bad at all. I’ve only washed some of the items one time and so far the ink has remained unchanged. Seems like a winner to me!
