Epiphone has a knack for creating custom Les Paul artists models, and the Epiphone Adam Jones Signature Les Paul Custom is no exception. This guitar finds a middle ground for fans of the super limited original 1979 Silverburst Les Paul, and of the iconic band Tool. This collaborative instrument boasts specs hand-selected by Adam Jones, and performance features that make it a good investment for the price point, as well as a unique collector's piece.

This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a maple veneer cap on its top, with a 7-ply, white binding following the contours of its body and beautifully contrasting its burst color. The neck is cut from three-piece maple, and features a profile only found on this guitar, known as the Adam Jones custom profile, created in collaboration with Epiphone. A GraphTech nut measures at 1.6932", with the total scale length of the guitar coming to 24.75". On the neck, an ebony fingerboard hosts 22 frets, with Mother-of-Pearl Block inlays between them.

This Silverburst beauty not only looks the part, but comes stocked with a Custombucker neck pickup and a reverse-mounted Seymour Duncan Distortion bridge pickup, that work together to offer a versatile tonal palette that Adam Jones himself harnesses in his performances. The control configuration includes two volume controls, two tone controls, with CTS pots and Orange Drop caps.

Hardware is not an afterthought on this model, either, with an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone StopBar tailpiece allowing precise intonation adjustment and sustain enhancement. Nickel-plated tuners also grace the top of the headstock and offer smooth, functional tuning as well as a touch of sophistication to the guitar's over vibe.

Finished in gorgeous Antique Silverburst, this Les Paul offers a take on a short-run finish that has a unique history among Les Paul lovers. The original 1979 version of this guitar is notorious for turning into more of a gold burst after it's aged a bit, and this Adam Jones Les Paul showcases what the finish looks like brand new: a deep silver transitioning to a black in an almost teardrop shaped pattern. Lacking the custom artwork found on other recent versions of this guitar, it does still feature a custom graphic on the rear of its headstock, further cementing its place as a one-of-a-kind variant of an iconic instrument.

This guitar comes with a custom Epiphone hardshell case.

Must Have For Beginner Coders
I am just starting out learning the concepts of coding, because I would like to start making my own video games as a hobby. I have purchased other "how-to" guides for beginners, which ended up being very confusing and required a more intermediate level of knowledge with coding. I am very happy with this book, as it provides straightforward and easy to understand lessons in four different coding languages, along with access to a free-to-use coding program so you can practice each lesson step-by-step in real time. The book is very colorful and laid out well with lots of pictures to illustrate each step in the process. I highly recommend this book for people like me, who are just starting out with coding and want to grasp the fundamentals before jumping into the deep end.

High quality!
I am not a seasoned programmer, so I cannot compare this to other resources available. Regarding the book itself, though, it is very high quality. The book itself is a hard cover with very high production values. Everything is illustrated and easy to understand. Like I said, I cannot vouch for the nitty-gritty that an expert might be able to, but from my perspective, this is a great place to start as a beginner.

Witty introduction. Not detailed, but technically accurate
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! I am a programmer and I have read several books about AI. This is an introduction for the general public. It does not have many technical details, but it is technically accurate. The writing is clear and understandable. It is also hilarious, with cute illustrations. I think it has more technical details and more interesting, on-point examples than some reviewers appreciate. They see the jokes and illustrations, and they don't notice how much technical information comes along with them. For example, she describes some fascinating parallels with biological evolution and AI systems discovering method of locomotion on their own, such as making yourself into a tower and then toppling over in the direction you want to go. The author points out this is how some species of grass propagate their seeds, one stem-length, each growing season. This is a short technical book. I like that! It reminds me of the classic "How to Lie With Statistics," by Darrell Huff, 1954, 142 pages. Everyone who wants to understand statistics should read this. It is also hilarious, it also has cute illustrations, and it is also one of the best introductions to the subject ever written.
