Specs:
Difficulty: Confident Beginner, recommended for ages 12 and up. The techniques are simple but a few of the steps involve smaller pieces that require a bit of extra patience to assemble. The elusive House Hippo has been one of the most desired creatures for Canadian kids since the early 1990's and now you can finally own one!
Dimensions: Finished House Hippos measure approx. 6" x 4" (15cm x 10cm).
Contents: Each kit envelope contains step-by-step photo illustrated instructions, paper pattern pieces, colour info care card, sheets of premium wool blend felt, pair of 7mm safety eyes, embroidery floss, needle and pins.
*The felt provided is The Felt Store's Premium Wool Blend Craft Felt which is a blend of 40% wool and 60% rayon, recommended as a higher-quality craft felt or a great alternative to 100% wool felt. Wool Blend Craft Felt has a greater density of fibers, which provides both smooth, fabric-like texture and rich color. It also meets the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, making it safe for everyone.
This activity is not recommended for small children, but will make a great addition to their collection.
