DESCRIPTION: Step into the drama of mid-century elegance with this tailored double-breasted wool masterpiece. Far from ordinary, this coat is a statement in structure and sophistication—crafted in a deep, inky black and adorned with intricate cord embroidery that whispers luxury. Its military-inspired silhouette exudes strength and poise, while the quilted wool and full lining promise warmth without sacrificing style. This isn’t just outerwear—it’s an experience. Picture crisp fall air, layered textures, and the confidence that comes from wearing a piece that commands attention. Perfect for elevating any ensemble, this coat transforms cold-weather dressing into an art form.

HISTORY: Military-inspired coats have long carried an air of authority and refinement, borrowing elements from traditional uniforms to create silhouettes that command attention. The double-breasted closure, sharply structured shoulders, and ornate corded detailing on this piece echo the grandeur of historical military garments—reinterpreted for civilian fashion during the mid-20th century. In the 1950s and 1960s, such designs became a hallmark of women’s outerwear, blending utilitarian strength with an unmistakable sense of elegance.

Jackie Stuart, the label behind this piece, specialized in women’s apparel with a keen focus on catering to the junior and petite market—a segment that rose to prominence in mid-century fashion—the brand offered stylish, well-constructed garments designed for younger women or those with smaller frames. The “Junior Petite” sizing reflects this niche, combining trend-conscious design with impeccable fit, making Jackie Stuart a trusted name for chic, tailored pieces during this golden age of fashion.

First time buyer and I love it
Vibrant Colors and Smooth Printing – Great Sublimation Ink! I’ve been using Hippo Sublimation Ink for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with the quality and performance. I paired it with my converted Epson EcoTank printer, and the setup was super easy. The bottles are clearly labeled, and the no-mess nozzle design makes refilling a breeze. The color output is excellent—bright, bold, and true to what I see on my screen. Reds are vibrant, blacks are deep, and everything prints consistently without streaks or blotching. I’ve used this ink for sublimating on a variety of blanks like mugs, shirts, keychains, and tumblers, and every item has turned out beautifully. Overall, Hippo has become my go-to sublimation ink. Great quality, reliable performance, and affordable for the results you get. Highly recommend it for hobbyists and small business

Great sublimation ink at a great price. Works great in my ET-8550.
I use this Hiipoo sublimation ink with my ET‑8550 for shirts, tumblers, and ceramic mugs, and it’s been great across all of them. The colors come out vibrant and consistent, and the ink flows well through the printer. Getting the color profile dialed in can be a little tricky, but that’s pretty much par for the course with any sublimation setup. Once everything is calibrated, the results look fantastic. For the price, it’s an excellent value. Plenty of ink, reliable performance, and great results on a wide range of blanks. I’ll definitely keep buying it.
