The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon PureAir Cleanse 100 HT is an advanced decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV) fan designed to deliver continuous low-noise ventilation while improving indoor air quality.
Developed in line with Approved Document F 2021 Building Regulations, the PureAir Cleanse range combines intelligent air quality sensing, near silent operation and fully adjustable airflow control to provide highly effective whole-house ventilation for modern homes and retrofit projects.
Ideal for bathrooms, toilets and utility areas, the fan automatically detects airborne pollutants and increases extraction rates when required, helping to maintain a healthier indoor environment.

Advanced Air Quality Monitoring
The Lo-Carbon PureAir Cleanse uses intelligent air quality sensors to detect Total Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), commonly found in indoor environments from cleaning products, cooking, aerosols and other household pollutants.
Once elevated pollutant levels or unpleasant odours are detected, the fan automatically increases extraction rates to clear the air more quickly while helping maintain compliance with UBA air quality standards.
Designed for Modern Building Regulations
The PureAir Cleanse range has been engineered to meet the increased whole dwelling ventilation requirements set out within Approved Document F 2021.
Its fully adjustable airflow controls make commissioning simple and allow installers to achieve required whole-house ventilation rates using fewer fans.
Comfort Control Technology
The patented comfort control feature delays boost activation for up to 20 minutes, allowing users to enjoy a quieter bathroom environment before higher extraction speeds activate.
If the bathroom light is switched on and off within three minutes, the boost function will not activate, helping reduce disturbance during night-time use.
Near Silent Performance
The fan has been specifically designed to minimise operational noise, with independently tested sound levels as low as 7.4dB(A). A silent mixed flow impeller helps deliver strong airflow performance without the need for traditional noisy centrifugal fan designs.
Flexible Installation
With an IPX5 rating, the PureAir Cleanse can be installed safely within bathroom Zones 1, 2 and 3. The slim 56mm ceiling void depth also makes the fan ideal for modern properties and retrofit applications where installation space is limited.
