For 8 long years, the ES-330 had a vacation from the Gibson Custom Shop lineup. As fellow hollowbody nerds, we are very excited to welcome back the ES-330 back to the Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection. First introduced in 1959, the ES-330 had undergone various spec/style appointment changes by the time 1962 came along – quickly becoming a fan favorite amongst Gibson fans. Back and better than ever, the Gibson Custom Shop 1962 ES-330 Reissue is here!

The 330 gets its iconic double-cutaway body from a fully hollow maple/poplar/maple body. Without the maple center block found in the 335, the 330 produces a more open, acoustic like sound that some find so enjoyable to play unplugged. The body is bound top and back, and is accented with a multi-ply black pickguard, nickel hardware, and gold top hat control knobs with silver inserts. The vintage burst VOS finish offers a lighter finish for increased resonation and showcases beautiful hardware patina. Driving the 330's tone, a set of P-90 pickups are in the neck and bridge positions. The bridge employs a standard wound Alnico 3 magnet, while the neck is underwound with a Alnico 5 – they played off each other wonderfully and produce a warm, sweet tone. More voices are accessible through the 3-way toggle switch, volume, and tone controls.

For its neck, a 24.75-inch scale length mahogany neck sporting a SlimTaper '60s "C" shape is glued into the body with a long neck tenon. Atop the neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard lays with 22 period-correct medium jumbo frets and cellulose small-block inlays. The neck meets the body at the 16th fret and offers exceptional access to the upper frets. Strings are loaded through the trapeze tailpiece before making contact with the ARB-1 Tune-O-Matic and nylon nut before being strung to pitch with the Kluson Deluxe tuning machines. The headstock sports its open book design with the Gibson logo, nothing more – its classic.

The 330 is accompanied by its Lifton reissue case and included custom shop COA and case candies.

Good value, but buyers should be aware that the metal base extends only on edges
I think this tray is a good value compared to other vendor's products that are $100+. I plan to keep it because it is a good value for me. HOWEVER, realize that the metal base does not extend across the full base of the cork liner. Metal pieces are only on the edge of long side of the liner. Also, the metal is lightweight.

The Ideal Organizer
The UPERGO Valet Tray is an ideal size for my nightstand. It does not slide around but stays put where I position it. Each section is useful for the items I want to keep close at hand but in an organized fashion, cell phone, wallet glasses, change, etc. I love the cork interior of the tray; it’s stylish and functional.

It's a functional organizational tray
I bought this valet tray for my nephew to be able to organize his go-to items, such as his cell phone, wallet, watch, bracelet, etc. I expected the tray to look more upgraded. The compartments are shallow, but they do the job. It is made of a cardboard-type material ( corkboard would have been nicer), and the black platform is a metal construction, which gives it a more stable and solid structure. Overall, for the price and its functionality, I guess it was worth the purchase.
