? TL;DR

The Air Jordan 11 72-10 is the ultimate winter AJ11 - black leather upper, red hits, and a milky translucent sole. LJR Batch nails the tumbled leather grain, correct red Jumpman/accents, and proper milky (not clear) outsole. Key QC: leather grain consistency, red color saturation, and patent leather height. Budget $130-150. This is the AJ11 for people who want the silhouette but in an all-black, low-maintenance colorway.

Who Is This For?

The 72-10 is for anyone who loves the AJ11 shape but wants something darker and more practical than the white-based colorways. Black leather doesn''t show dirt, the milky sole hides yellowing, and the red accents add just enough color. LJR Batch delivers the correct tumbled leather texture that budget batches can''t replicate - smooth or plastic-like leather on this colorway is an immediate tell.

What Makes This Batch Special

  • Tumbled Leather: LJR uses genuine tumbled leather with correct grain depth and texture. Budget batches use smooth or lightly textured leather that looks flat.
  • Milky Outsole: The translucent sole should be milky white, not clear. This is the #1 tell - clear soles = budget batch.
  • Red Accents: Jumpman logo and heel 23 must be the correct Varsity Red tone. Too orange or too dark = RL.

Technical Specs

Spec Retail LJR Match
Upper Tumbled leather Tumbled leather (grain matched) 95%
Sole Milky translucent Milky (opacity matched) 93%
Patent Cut ~2.5cm ~2.4-2.6cm 96%
Red Accents Varsity Red Color matched 94%

QC Checklist

  1. Leather Grain: Consistent pebbled texture across all panels. Flat/smooth areas = RL.
  2. Sole Opacity: Should be milky, not clear. Hold up to light - it should diffuse, not pass through clearly.
  3. Red Jumpman: Correct Varsity Red, centered on tongue. No orange tint.
  4. Patent Height: Same ~2.5cm standard as other AJ11s.

FAQ

How does 72-10 compare to Space Jam?

Both are dark AJ11s. 72-10 uses tumbled leather (matte), Space Jam uses patent leather (shiny). 72-10 is more subtle and easier to maintain. Space Jam has the iconic blue Jumpman. Pick based on your shine preference.

Do the soles yellow on reps?

LJR soles age similarly to retail - they develop a slight warm tint over 6-12 months. This is consistent with retail aging. Clear-soled budget batches yellow faster and more unevenly.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger
