  • Fit Kits protect your bike. Not all bike eyelets are meant for racks, most are only made for fenders or have very low weight limits. Axle mounting protects your frame by moving the load from a small bolt that’s loaded in shear to a stud that extends from the axle and is captured by the rack dropouts.
  • Need to carry more gear? Axle mounting increases our Divide rack’s load capacity to 70lbs/33kg.
  • Want to move your rack between multiple bikes? Fit Kits make it easy to swap between bikes or front and rear mounting with just a few bolts.?

Description

Fit Kit SET822 contains all the parts needed to thru axle mount an Old Man Mountain bike rack to your mountain bike with a 12 mm thru axle.

This kit includes:

  • 12 x 176-188mm thru axle with 1.5 mm thread pitch
  • A pair of mounting pucks
  • Clear protective tape, for underneath the pucks and Zip Ties
  • Mounting hardware
  • NOTE: Our Fit Kits are made to work with Old Man Mountain products.

    *Thru axles are made in Oregon by The Robert Axle Project.

    Good chair, Hensley is more comfortable

    Received chair in a large box and assembly was easy. Instructions call for 2-person assembly but I set out to do as much as I could by myself until someone else was available. No tools needed other than the Allen wrench provided. I assembled the chair in under an hour by myself. The 2 person portion of the assembly was for attaching the seat to the wheel assembly but I managed to attach it myself with some careful maneuvering. The chair is nice and comfortable enough, but I was spoiled by the comfort of trying a different Serta model (Hensley, now discontinued) ina store. I couldn't find that model anywhere else and the floor model was SOOOO comfortable with its Serta Smart Layers. I was hoping Bryce would be a close second. After trying Bryce for a few days, I'd say its a distant third. If I never met Hensley, Bryce might have a higher rating. Update: based on other reviews, I made covers for the armrests to prevent wear and peeling of the padding cover.

    If you're looking for an office chair with comfort and support in mind, then this is one you should consider. Item delivered on time as stated when purchased. Assembly instructions were quite clear, just make sure all parts are accounted for when opening box. Pay attention to the supplied screw sizing during assembly per the instructions. The supplied hex key, if used, will get the assembly job done, but would recommend using a cordless drill with clutch and appropriate sized hex bit for faster and less fatiguing hand work. Just be sure to start screws by hand first to make sure they start threading into the openings so you won't cross thread the screws. Once assembled, set the chair adjustments to your liking and enjoy a very nice looking, comfortable, and supportive office chair. I especially like the lumbar support built into this product. One last note, if you are going to use this product on hard surfaced floors it is recommended that you purchase soft office chair wheels (sold here on Amazon) because the wheels supplied are hard plastic and will scratch or mar hard flooring.
