Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers
- Replaces any dual run round capacitor with matching 35/3 MFD capacitance and 370 VAC or 440 VAC voltage ratings. The physical dimensions should also be compatible with the mounting bracket.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Used in HVAC systems, air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces.
- Powers a compressor motor (HERM) and a fan motor (FAN) simultaneously.
- Verify the MFD rating, voltage, and physical size of your original capacitor before ordering. A capacitor with a 440V rating can replace one with a 370V rating, but not vice-versa.
When to Replace
- Motor hums but does not start.
- Fan or compressor struggles to start or runs slowly.
- AC unit is not cooling effectively.
- Visible signs of failure on the old capacitor, such as a swollen or bulging top, or leaking fluid.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect all electrical power to the unit before servicing.
- Safely discharge the existing capacitor by shorting the terminals with an insulated-handle screwdriver.
- Photograph or make a note of the wire connections before disconnecting them.
- Connect wires to the correct terminals: 'HERM' for the compressor, 'FAN' for the fan motor, and 'C' for the common line.

Great Streamer, But Remote Needs Work
I’ve been using the Firestick 4K for a while now and overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance and ease of use. The setup was a breeze, and I really appreciate the consistent user interface it provides across all my TVs, which is especially helpful for my wife. However, I have a serious issue with the remote. It feels cheap and flimsy, and honestly, the removal of the IR Blaster is baffling. I don't understand how this design made it to market, as it complicates setup for those of us with soundbars or surround systems that connect via optical cables.
Additionally, the dedicated app buttons are a real annoyance. I often find myself accidentally launching other apps instead of streaming my preferred content on YouTube TV. I wish there were an option to disable them or even assign them to apps I actually use. If you're considering this device and can find it on sale for about $25, it's worth it for the streaming capabilities, but be prepared to navigate a frustrating remote experience.

Fast, Easy to Use, and a Huge Upgrade
Configuration: Fire TV Stick 4K Plus
The new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus exceeded my expectations. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the performance is noticeably faster and smoother compared to older streaming devices I’ve used. Apps open quickly, streaming quality looks great in 4K, and navigation feels responsive with very little lag.
The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and I love having all my streaming apps in one place. The voice remote is also super convenient for searching shows, adjusting volume, and controlling the TV without juggling multiple remotes. Overall, it’s an excellent value and made my TV setup feel instantly upgraded.
