Cursed City is a co-op game with recognisable rules for all who have played a Warhammer Quest game before. This time though, everything is more deadly. Players will choose from 8 heroes, Witch Hunter, Vampire Hunter, General, Kharadron entrepreneur, Duelist, Missionary, Necromancy and Ogor Mercenary. Which sounds like my 'looks for' list on tinder... This is a big selection of characters that will bring variety to your adventures. Of course being Games Workshop the minis for these are absolutely brilliant. You will need to snip them from the sprues and glue them together though so make sure you have clippers and plastic glue. Once you have you heroes and undead overlords and minions assembled you can venture in to Ulfenkarn, the cursed city itself. On a turn you will roll your dice and then use these for specific actions for each hero. To discover more about the curse and your nemesis Radukar the Wolf you will need to work together combining strengths and covering each others weaknesses. As you progress through the campaign you will level up your heroes and open up more mission types which adds to the variety even more. Cursed City is more melee orientated than Silver Tower and Blackstone Fortress which makes for a slightly lighter experience, combining the best things from the previous games. Given that this might be the best time to jump on the Warhammer Quest wagon and free the city from its curse. Player count: 1-5 Time: 120-180 minutes Age rating: 12+
