Inspired by heavy duty industrial and military applications around the world, AEV’s Snorkel Kit for the JL Wrangler and Gladiator (2.0L, 3.6L and 2.2L CRD) is designed to improve engine performance by drawing in the cleanest, coolest air charge possible, even in the worst conditions. If you are serious about off-road adventure, the an AEV Snorkel is one of the most important modifications you can make. 

AEV Snorkel systems are tested extensively, both in controlled environments and under real-world conditions, where strength and durability can be evaluated. Unlike virtually all other manufacturers in the aftermarket, AEV manufactures these Snorkel systems out of an OE quality, UV-stable cross-linked polyethylene which offers superior durability and performance and is tested to extreme hot/cold temperatures to ensure thermal stability. Lightweight yet extremely durable, the AEV Snorkel installs directly into the factory airbox with no additional under-hood modifications. A template for cutting the hood and an application-specific trim bezel is included for a finished, professional looking appearance.  

The JL/Gladiator Snorkel was designed with two unique mounting configurations in mind. AEV recommends installing the Snorkel using the standard mounting bracket that is included with this kit. This mounting configuration will be the strongest and most durable option for off-road use. However, an optional A-Pillar Mount is also available for customers who wish to retain the ability to fold down the windshield on their Wrangler or Gladiator. Instead of mounting to the windshield frame, this bracket mounts to your Jeep’s A-Pillar, leaving the windshield free to move up an down. 

The JL/Gladiator Snorkel is ordered based on your OE fender flare style – either the High Flare or the Low Flare option. If you are unsure of what fender flare you have, please see the images in our FAQ section below. All Snorkel kits include a standard Air Ram inlet. 

Please note: This Snorkel System is NOT compatible with 3.0L Diesel JL/Gladiator models or Mojave Gladiator (gas or diesel).
