Revered for its aesthetics, this Les Paul stands as one of Gibson USA's most intricate and captivating offerings. Adorned with a gorgeous AAA Flame Maple top, Mother-of-Pearl inlays throughout and multi-ply binding, the Les Paul Supreme effortlessly seizes the spotlight.
In this fresh release for 2023, the Les Paul Supreme showcases a suite of upgraded features meticulously engineered to deliver an exceptionally comfortable playing experience. Firstly, the Mahogany body of the Les Paul Supreme features Gibson's Ultra Modern weight relief. This method of relief incorporates specific chambers predominantly at the lower bout of the body to offer lighter weight while still preserving the tonal integrity of what is expected in a full solid body.
The Mahogany neck of the Les Paul Supreme boasts the popular SlimTaper profile, an Ebony fingerboard adorned with striking Mother of Pearl Super Split Block inlays, and single-ply fretboard binding. Furthermore, the neck incorporates a modern heeled joint, facilitating smoother access to the Les Paul Supreme's upper register.
A resplendent array of gold-plated hardware is featured throughout this exquisite axe. The Les Paul Supreme includes locking Grover Keystone tuners, an Aluminum Nashville Tune-o-Matic Bridge, an Aluminum stop bar tailpiece, and covered Gibson Burstbucker Pro and Burstbucker + pickups in the neck and bridge positions, respectively.
One of the standout aesthetic features of the Les Paul Supreme is a distinctive headstock inlay, inspired by a classic Gibson design dating back to the 1940s. Like the fretboard inlays, this captivating geometric pattern is meticulously crafted from luminous Mother-of-Pearl.
As for electronics, the Les Paul Supreme is equipped with an array of controls, with each pickup volume allowing individual coil-tap functionality. Additionally, each tone control serves as a Pure Bypass/Phase selector, adding further tonal versatility to this remarkable instrument.
Responding to the fervent requests of dedicated players and enthusiasts, the Les Paul Supreme has been reinstated into the Gibson USA production lineup.
