2021. The vintage was characterized by a mild winter with little rainfall, and as was logical, the budding of the vines began earlier than expected: towards the end of March. This vegetative advance saw us exposed to a tail end of winter with a wave of frost that hit Franciacorta on April 6 and 7 and also caused damage on some of our vineyards. Following this, vegetative recovery continued at an incredibly slow pace due to weather conditions marked by cold weather and frequent rains. With this weather the vines delayed flowering by a week compared to the average in recent years (last decade of May). The beginning of summer brought with it no major heat waves, and the grape load of the vines was optimal and the health status exceptional except that on July 25, when veraison was already underway, a violent hailstorm radically changed the face of the 2021 vintage. Helping to safeguard the remaining production was the weather of the first ten days of August when an African heat wave, which had so far been lacking, helped the hail wounds heal and kept the grapes dry and healthy. The harvest began on Tuesday, August 17, and in spite of everything after continuous inspections in the vineyard we were able to find grapes with excellent analytical balance and make the best decision about their destination. Average yield per hectare of 6.300 kilograms of grapes, equivalent to 4.000 litres of wine (wine yield: 63%). The quality of the wines is remarkable despite the fact that the vintage was very difficult and made of extremes.

Vinification

The base wines that go into Cuvée Prestige are the fruit of accurate cluster selection and expert vinification, carried out in line with the Ca’ del Bosco Method. The grapes are hand-picked and placed in small crates, graded and chilled. Every bunch is selected by trained eyes and hands, just before they go through our exclusive “berry spa”, a special whirlpool-like wash for grape bunches, consisting of three soaking tanks, followed by thorough drying in a special tunnel. After pressing in an oxygen-free press, all the musts of the base wines ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where they remain until the following month of March. The wines take seven months to settle, mature and express the very best characteristics of their vineyards of origin. The wines are then carefully assembled in the “magical ritual” that creates the cuvée. Only after aging on the lees for at least 2 years will this Franciacorta express all its richness and identity. Disgorgement is carried out in an oxygen-free environment, using a proprietary process designed and patented by Ca’ del Bosco. This procedure prevents oxidative shocks and makes it unnecessary to add sulfites, making our Franciacortas purer, more appealing and longer lived. Finally, every bottle is marked with a unique identifier to ensure its traceability.

Easy and Functional for 3 Monitor Setup
Size: 13"-27", Style: Triple
Some assembly required. Used this to re-configure my 3 monitor setup. 2 27" monitors across the bottom and a 20-ish" monitor up top. First and foremost, anything bigger than 27" on the bottom two and it will not work. The span was just barely long enough for my application and still allow for any articulation of the monitors. I would prefer to have them angle towards me just a little more, but it works. Assembly was straight-forward. Instructions were pretty clear as far as the pictures go. I didnt actually read the text, but thats pretty much how obvious it is to assemble and mount the monitors. The tubing and clamps feel heavy-duty. With the exception of a drill, drill bits, and phillips head screw driver, they provide the tools and hardware necessary to assemble, mount and adjust the monitors, to include longer screws and offsets for the monitors if required. Installation on my desk went well. I used the through hole option strictly due to the desk not being able to accomodate the clamp. Word of caution... with all three monitors hung on the mount, this thing is HEAVY and all supported by just the main tube. If you use the clamp option, make sure your desktop/tabletop will allow the clamp to fully seat. Otherwise, you run the risk of it slipping loose and you'll be wearing the monitors if you happen to be sitting in front of them when it comes down. Once all the monitors are mounted, the overall setup is surprisingly sturdy considering the size of the main support tube. Yes, it will wobble some, but overall, it works pretty well and once the clamps are locked into place the monitors stay in place. Took a couple of hours for me to get it all set up, but it could be done quicker I'm sure. All in all, me likey!

Overdo is what I do
Size: 13"-32", Style: Single
Since my 50" monitor is under the 22lb weight limit, I decided to give this arm a shot. Nobody seems to make an arm for something as big as a 50-inch even if they don't actually weigh that much. So what happened? The arm CAN support that weight and size. The manufacturer did a great job on the materials and it assembles very easily. For a regular monitor, this arm should work great. But the clamp design is not exactly sturdy enough for my bigger screen that exceeds the intended use. Clamped to the table top alone, the pole had a serious and unsafe lean to it. I ended up reinforcing my table with three layers of plywood secured with lag bolts right through the table top. Between the layers of plywood is the table top and a steel beam that the table top sits on. So this is a ridiculously strong base. With that in place, the arm does hold the monitor in the fully retracted position. Extended, there is way too much leverage and the arm starts to lean. So don't do that. It needs to stay totally retracted to the pole. To fit my monitor, I had to get VESA extension wings and those worked fine. This provides the solution I am going to use: angle irons bolted to the wings and running down to the table. I have room to do this. The angle irons will take up most of the weight and let the arm stay vertical and let me move it around. So it will be a three-legged mount instead of one. Eh. It will work fine for me until I come up with something better. Very tempted to drill holes in the clamp base and lag bolt that to the table. Nothing is going to beat that except welding it.

27" monitor mounted easily
Style: Single Arm, Size: 13"-34", Style: Single Arm, Size: 13"-34"
I ended up getting 2 of these monitor arms for the different desks in our office, and I am happy with both of them. The arms are super easy to assemble and adjust to the tension one desires. The arms hold the position where one sets them too, and the gas pistons make it super easy to use. Each arm has a channel on the bottom that allows the wiring to be ran through and hidden, yet remaining accessible if needed. The mounting clamps hold securely and there is no wiggle whatsoever, and it is nice to have a strong feeling monitor mount. It is lightweight and compact so it doesn't feel clunky on the desk. Highly adjustable left to right, up and down, and the screen forward and backward tilt. The price is really good for the overall value and quality of the product. Just make sure to order the right mounting arm depending on the size of your monitor, and you will be fine. Nice quality and feel, and the aesthetics are great too.

Get this one!
Style: Dual Arms, Size: 13"-32", Style: Dual Arms, Size: 13"-32"
I got this dual monitor arm for my home office, and it’s been a total game changer. Having a dual monitor setup makes multitasking so much easier, especially for photo and video editing. Setup was incredibly quick (under 5 minutes), and it feels very secure once mounted. I really like how stable it is and how easy it is to adjust the height and angle. It also helped clear up a lot of desk space since I no longer need bulky monitor stands. Simple design, but it works perfectly. Highly recommend for both single and dual monitor setups. Great value for the price!
