The DH4 is a vertical application windlass perfect for boats with limited deck space. Comes in different variations with or without the drum capstan for rope retrieval as well as various gypsy sizes for rope or chain retrieval. High power watertight AC or DC Motors and a Hydrualic power option.

IT does protect from the sun.

It protects from the sun without a doubt and lasts well. The downsides are that it leaves a greasy and "white" residue that no matter how much you rub it in.....it stays there. I use it when I am working outside and not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
