Forty per cent of the blend is fermented in old French oak barriques and hogsheads, with the entirety of the blend through malolactic fermentation and twelve months on yeast lees. Appearance
Light to medium straw with a bright, clean clarity — the fresh, inviting colour of a Riverina Chardonnay harvested at night for optimal freshness and precision.
Aroma
Complex white peach, grilled nuts, and lifted citrus — the expressive, layered bouquet of a Chardonnay where warm barrel fermentation, extended lees contact, and full malolactic fermentation build flavour and texture without sacrificing aromatic lift.
Palate
Textural, creamy, and buttery, with a fine acid finish that keeps everything fresh and balanced. Full of flavour from twelve months on yeast lees with minimal stirring, with the white peach and grilled nut character carrying through to a long, satisfying close.
