Nonetheless, it retains all the excellent functionalities of a standard GAIA Campers truck cap.

The GAIA Shadow Top truck cap is famous for its strong construction, made of durable stainless steel and coated in a sleek black finish. Designed for rough off-road adventures, it offers better protection than regular bed caps, ensuring your items stay safe even in tough conditions.

Accessing your truck bed items is simple with the integrated gas struts, ensuring easy opening and closing of the cap. The lid opens fully, allowing for easy loading of large items from the top. For security, this Colorado/Canyon truck bed cap has two locking latches on each door, reinforced with safety glass and steel bars on the windows to deter unauthorized access.

It also includes a third brake light and LED strip for better visibility at night, improving safety whether you're on the road or at your campsite. However, unlike standard truck caps, this one doesn't allow for a roof rack to be installed, limiting your ability to add extra storage or mount a rooftop tent. Nevertheless, you can still attach various accessories on the side doors for customization based on your needs!

Features:

• Fully welded stainless steel; no structural bolts to worry about rattling loose over time.
• The Shadow Top now comes standard with an operable sliding window in the front wall of the cap, behind your truck cab. 
• The Shadow Top also features a safety glass rear window, with security bars inside the cap over the rear window (the bars can be removed by unbolting them if you do not want them).
• Includes rear grab handles on each side, as well as a rear hatch grab handle
• Side doors are solid (no window option is available at this time).  The side doors fold down, and are held by a limit chain in a horizontal position which is handy as a quick table. 
• Cap includes LED internal LED strip light that come pre-wired to a switch in the rear corner of the cap by the rear hatch. Simply connect the positive & negative wire to a 12V power source of your choice.
• Each cap comes with mounting hardware (see below) as well as rubber seals to seal the cap down to your truck bed sides.
• Cap includes LED third brake light and interior LED that come prewired. (third brake light will need to be piggybacked onto tail light brake wire; interior LED will need to be wired to an 'always on' power source such as vehicle battery or stand-alone battery).
