The transmission in your 2012-2021 Dodge Charger, Challenger, or Chrysler 300 is the heart of its drivetrain. Whether you're hauling groceries or knocking out highway miles, it's vital to keep it performing at its best, and keeping the transmission fluid cool is crucial to that goal. In an attempt to balance drivability and the health of your transmission, Dodge/Chrysler fitted a thermostatic bypass valve to the lines that feed the transmission cooler. This valve ensures fluid doesn't flow through the cooler before the transmission reaches operating temperature, preventing overcooling in cold environments. However, when the thermostat in this valve fails, it's almost a guarantee your transmission will overheat. Moreover, those who live in hot climates will likely never have to worry about overcooling, rendering the valve a useless flow restriction. That's why Mishimoto has developed a full-flow thermostatic bypass valve for the 2012-2021 Dodge Charger, Challenger, or Chrysler 300. The Mishimoto thermal bypass valve kit includes an all-aluminum CNC-machined housing that replaces the stock unit. This full-flow valve allows fluid to pump through the cooler as soon as the vehicle is started, eliminating the potential failure point of the stock bypass and providing cooling benefits. The full-flow design is beneficial to vehicles operating in hot climates, extreme driving conditions, or towing heavy loads. Can’t beat MANN quality
Bought to replace the filters on my 2015 bmw x5 as there was a musty smell from ac. Old filters were another junk company that fit very loosely. I was impressed by the quality and how secure the MANN filters locked into the housing; musty smell all gone now! Easy 10min replacement job, comes with VERY detailed instructions for the less mechanically inclined

Great product
Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything.
Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol.
That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter.
What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles.
Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore.
Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same.
I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in.
Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter
The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work.
Well done BMW, lol.
We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery”
Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it.
It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done.
Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.
