Both inspirational and practical, Black and White Graphics showcases the appealing impact of using monochrome color schemes in the field of graphic design, and it presents an international collection of work that makes clear the capabilities of black, white, and gray. The posters, publications, labels, corporate communications, and other projects selected show that this achromatic combination can, at the same time as keeping a project’s budget to a minimum, elevate the value of graphic design, facilitate communication, and enhance the project’s dramatic effect by limiting design elements to those which are absolutely necessary. For black is not simply black, and white is not only white. There are endless possibilities that lie between the two, within the infinite palette of grays. In fact, black and white make for a timeless combination of colors that has been a popular choice for graphic designers for years. Simple, vintage, and sometimes elegant, black and white are the colors that capture viewers’ attention by simply reducing colors to the basics and therefore leading the focus back to the visual message that a graphic design tries to express.

I Welcome Our New Bird Overlords
Format: Paperback
A wild ride that's basically "What if Rise of the Planet of the Apes happened with birds?!" I love it when Tezuka is just... out there, too weird to look away.

Great one and done love letter to 90s Image comics.
Format: Hardcover
This is quite possibly the best comic I have read in quite sometime. The art is great, the story is very well written. It's a fun love letter to 90s Image comics that works even if you've never read an issue of them. My biggest complaint is that there isnt more, as the series ended with a pretty low issue count. Even still it feels complete and is a fun ride. I highly recommend this hardcover as the best way to collect the full series.

Smalltown Superhero Noir
Format: Paperback
Not your standard superhero battle-fest. Local Man is what happens when suddenly you're not 20 anymore, you're kicked off the team in disgrace and have to basically beg your judgy parents for couch space while you somehow, someway, try to put your life back together. And then there are all the murders, just after you come into town. Makes a body think, it does. Hard smalltown noir, with nasty little secrets and petty jealousies, mixed with a superhero chaser, My new favorite.

Back to the 90s
Format: Hardcover
This is one hell of a read with plenty of love for 90s comics. I cannot believe we had a cameo from Boof and an appearance from Battle Pope! The entire series is absolutely flawless with its noir murder mystery and the little homage moments made reading this book a huge nostalgic trip

Incredible start to a Great Series!
Format: Paperback
This takes everything you know about superhero comics and flips the script! Jack Xaver, aka Crossjack is exiled from his superhero group, Third Gen, and must go back to his hometown of Farmington, Wisconsin with his tailed tucked between his legs. The town and its people hate Jack for abandoning them, but little do they know about the trouble that's happening right in their backyards. This book, and series, has action, drama, humor, and a cute little puppy named Pepper! Grab this book and you won't be disappointed appointed!
