Originally created by Mackintosh's. TOFFEE CRISP were launched into the UK market in 1963. The idea for the TOFFEE CRISP bar originated from John Henderson, the great-nephew of John Mackintosh, who adapted a cake recipe made by his late wife Edith for their children. The recipe used a combination of crispy rice pieces and chocolate cake, however when he initially submitted samples to the board it was felt that it needed something more so after further development a soft toffee was added along the top and with its unique combination of textures with crispy cereal pieces, chewy toffee and smooth milk chocolate the TOFFEE CRISP was born. Initially TOFFEE CRISP Bars were produced at MacKintosh's factory in Halifax, however in 2012 production was moved to Newcastle where they still continue to be made to this day. In the 1980's and 1990's there were a series of TV advertisements which each ended with the strapline "Somebody, somewhere is have a Toffee Crisp". Quality weights for all fitness levels

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Good quality and the stand is very sturdy.
The stand was super easy to put together and it’s held up incredibly well. I’ve used these weights almost every day for the last couple months and they aren’t showing any signs of wear. They are definitely well made were exactly what I was expecting. The stand has been knocked over and dropped many times and it still works and looks as good as the day I put it together.
They are very comfortable to hold during workouts and they aren’t slippery when your hands get sweaty.
I would definitely recommend these!

Nice weight set for Bar Method

I do a low impact workout called Bar Method. I love these weights because they match the ones we have in class. They function well. No issues over many workouts. They look nice on my little workout shelf, too. I recycled the stand. Didn't need it. Good value for the weights you get.

Pretty solid set of weights. Love that it comes with a little rack. The rack is plastic but for the weights I got (3, 5, 8 lbs) it feels sturdy enough. The texture and quality feel exactly like the weights that the high end Pilates studio I go on occasion uses. Seems durable and easy to keep clean. Would definitely recommend.

Great for home use!

Pros: These are great for at home workouts. They have a great grip and comfortable to hold. Good quality and are comparable to to other weights I have used like this.
Cons: They arrived with one of the 3 pound weights missing and rack damaged. Although this could have happened during shipping. Company quickly replaced them however!

Perfect, Simple, & Economical

I just received my order and am so excited to start working out. The weights are so cute and not too bulky. You have to build the stand yourself, it does come with screws so you’ll need a small screwdriver but it was very simple to do. Perfect to hide in between my couch & wall in my small apartment. Not bad for 45 bucks, at least that’s what I paid with my Prime shipping and tax.
