This RAM base kit consists of a yoke clamp base, medium (94mm) length double socket arm and diamond base. It will easily mount to the yokes of light aircraft but also to any round pipe or rail. As it can be quickly removed or installed without tools it is also suitable for mounting to many mobility devices.


The yoke clamp base will fit rails in diameter from 15.9mm / 0.625" to a maximum of 31.75mm / 1.25". The 1" (B Series) rubber ball is at a right angle to the plane of the mount; when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. The mount is designed with a RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm, allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.


The Diamond Plate consists of a 1" diameter rubber ball connected to a 61.7mm x 33.3mm diamond base. The base has two holes 48.5mm from centre to centre, matches the industry standard AMPS hole pattern and will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles.
