Stetind 3 Ultralight is very light, but also a solid and stable dome tent for 3 people. It is a reliable and comfortable tent that is suitable for trips in spring, summer and autumn.
What really sets the Barents range of tents appart, is the superior venting they have build into each tent. Recognising condensation as a major issue, especially in cold environments, Barents made it a priority in this new range of tents.
The tent is equipped with two entrances and two awnings so that it is easy to organise on each side of the tent - in addition to always having an entrance out of the wind. There is generally plenty of space inside the tent, and two awnings mean that you can also organise both cooking and storing equipment in a good way.
Stetind 3 Ultralight is very easy to set up and is an incredibly stable tent. The inner tent and the outer tent are pitched together to prevent the inner tent from getting damp. The tent also has fixings between the inner and outer tent, so that the inner tent is also stretched out when the outer fabric on the sides is unrolled. This contributes to increased internal volume in the inner tent, and a very good sense of space. The geometry of the frame of the tent ensures a very good ceiling height and there is room for three large sleeping mats.
