It's all heartwood, with the deep red color of classic Spanish Cedar, which is a hardwood more closely related to Mahogany than to what we know of as Cedar in the US. These blocks have been air dried to 10 12% moisture content. Pricing is for one block, and photos may not represent the exact piece you receive.
