This download teaches children about the body’s digestive system in one complete lesson, then revises the learning with a fun online escape room.

There is a detailed 30 slide PowerPoint which explains what the digestive system is, breaks down how it works, explains the different parts of our digestive system and looks at the journey food takes. There are also differentiated, 8 page, worksheets to allow students to demonstrate their understanding. I have also included a video of my own science lesson (using these resources) which took place online for teacher’s understanding or to show the class. After the lesson children can take part in a digital escape room to practice their new knowledge.
