Heidi released her first solo EP, The Only Girl In The Room in 2015, featuring her understated vocal style, clever arrangements and confessional lyrics. On Pony Show, her sophisticated arrangements provide a strong foundation for melancholy lyrics sung with a delicate, self-assured and authentic voice, influenced by her heroes and fellow Canadian exports - Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young and their Laurel Canyon orchestrated pop recordings of the ‘60s and ‘70s.

If you've ever wanted to know more indepth details about the Christmas story, a detailed and true explanation of the birth of Jesus, this is the book to buy. It's worth every penny. If you've ever had questions like: why those shepherds? what made them so special? details about the "wise men", why do only Luke and Mark detail these events, why Nazareth? and so much more... buy the book! I took my book over my daughter's house for Christmas Eve with her and her kids + a few friends. They aren't all as familiar with scripture as my husband and I are, but I've insisted on continuing the tradition my mom started of reading the Christmas Story before we open any presents. I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool! It's so factual, it will speak to those who are kind of "on the fence".
