DESCRIPTION: This coat is the ultimate nod to vintage glamour—plush, tactile, and effortlessly chic. Its sumptuous texture and dramatic wide collar channel the bold silhouettes that defined mid 20th-century style. Collectible and covetable, especially when tied to notable designers, this piece is perfect for those who crave timeless sophistication and classic elegance.

HISTORY: The label “Eric’s Southampton” evokes the legacy of a distinguished bespoke outfitter rooted in the storied port city of Southampton, Hampshire—a hub of maritime prestige and genteel society. Such establishments were the province of the discerning elite, offering garments and accessories tailored to perfection, each piece a testament to craftsmanship and refinement. The presence of a crest or coat of arms upon the label speaks to heritage and honor, suggesting ties to local heraldry or a lineage of service to prominent families. More than a mark of origin, it is an emblem of tradition—where sartorial excellence met the quiet grandeur of English custom.

Alexander Becher earned renown as a visionary of opulent fur design, marrying the refined elegance of Parisian couture with the bold, cosmopolitan spirit of New York fashion. His creations—crafted from the finest pelts with impeccable artistry—were coveted by a clientele who demanded nothing less than perfection. The label “Sultra by Alexander Becher,” now bearing the addition of “Eric’s Southampton,” signals a collection conceived for exclusivity. Southampton, long a playground for high society and a beacon of leisure, provided the ideal stage for garments that embodied privilege and prestige. This piece is more than attire; it is a statement of sophistication, designed for those who sought luxury not as an indulgence, but as a way of life.

DATE: Mid-Century

CONDITION: This is in overall excellent, gently worn, vintage condition. Very warm with some nice weight to it overall. High quality make and feel.

MEASUREMENTS: I would call this a size S/M. One of my favourite things about the looser sleeve style is there ample room for layering bulkier knits, which can be much more difficult with a fitted sleeve. As usual please refer to the below measurements for most accurate fit.

Measurements: LAYING FLAT / NOT DOUBLED / NOT STRETCHED

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam width: Approx. 17 inches wide
Armpit seam to armpit seam width: 22.5 inches wide
Armpit hole length: 12 inches long
Sleeve length from cuff to shoulder edge of shoulder bend: 23.5 inches long
Waist width: 23 inches wide
Hip width: 24.5 inches wide
Length of garment from shoulder seam to hem: 39.5 inches long

Size: 7pcs Matcha Whisk Set, Color: Light Green
So pretty! The bowl seems a little big? But ive never had a set like this before so im unsure if it is the right size or not. The whisk came with one piece snapped off but it still works just fine. Just worries me about long term use. I am so glad i didn’t spend $50 at the store for one of these sets and just got this one. i love the colors and i leave it sitting out on my counter because it’s so pretty. making matcha has never been easier

Good quality. Works fine.
Color: Yellow, Color: Yellow
I've never had matcha or made it before, so I looked up how to care for this set and how to use it right. There's a website called "tea is the cup of life" that has a very informative video and article about how everything related to matcha is hand made, etc. And shows what you need to do. The instructions are also on box, but seemed simplified. They're accurate enough to get you started. Based on the time consuming nature of hand making the bamboo stuff, I'd be really surprised if this is actually hand made with them selling the volume they're selling. It's still good quality, just I doubt it's hand made at this price point. The one star off is for two reasons: the whisk is supposed to make the matcha "frothy". It got a little bubbly, but not more than just stirring it with a spoon or a regular little metal whisk does. The second reason is the bamboo has supposedly less static cling for the matcha powder compared to metal spoons, so you don't waste the labor intensive and expensive powder. The matcha powder sticks to both bamboo spoons just as much as it sticks to a metal spoon, but the metal spoon rinsed off into the tea cup 100% and the bamboo still had a little powder in the grain so the spoon needed washed and a little powder was wasted. Is it enough to worry about really? I dunno. But it seems like the purists are really interested in details like that, so I'm mentioning it. Oh yeah, the description says this one is yellow and their images show that yellow green crayon color, which is what I expected to get. It's that more green color. I don't think anyone would call it yellow when they see it in person. The kit works as intended and it is good quality. Since I'm just getting into it for the health benefits of matcha tea and not for the ceremony, I didn't find the processes "meditative" at all. I'll probably just stick to using a regular spoon and whisk in the cup, but if you want to do the whole ceremonial shebang at an affordable price, this kit will do the trick.

Great gift set to for matcha lovers
Color: Yellow
Got as a birthday gift. It's the recipient favorite color. Its not part of their daily routine to have a barista like matcha. And appreciate everything about making the quality of the matcha taste that much better. Good value got it on sale. I probably purchase another color for myself.
