Black Cherry Block BC-203 2.5" x 2.5" x 10.1"Black Cherry Block BC 2032 1 2" x 2 1 2" x 10 1 8"2 lbs. This is another nice end grain block of Black Cherry. It is almost entirely a light pinkish brown heartwood, but does include a small thin wedge of degraded sapwood on a portion of one edge (bottom photo). That old sapwood will turn off immediately as the block is roughed to round. The overall grain pattern is very pleasing throughout. I see no cracks, checks or other potential flaws.
