The name Riviera describes the shores of the Mediterranean, stretching from Genoa to the Spanish border. Although the coast is vast and picturesque, the Riviera has become known not just as a seaside resort, but as a style in its own right, from decoration to architecture to fashion.

It’s this art of living that Baobab has tried to convey with the Riviera collection featuring hand-blown glass containers in marshmallow colors, where transparency and color unfold like light bubbles. The names of the candles were inspired by historic villas on the French Riviera, and the fragrances in this collection are original works by perfumer Emilie Bouge using a process similar to soliflore which highlights the Grasse region, and the raw materials harvested in this area.

Villa Leopolda, an emblematic property on the French Rivieria, takes its name from King Leopold II of Belgium, who acquired it in 1902. Situated in the hills above Villefranche-Sur-Mer, it boasts an extraordinary view of the sea and mountains. The transparent glass of the Leopolda scented candle is strewn with pink and sky-blue oval shapes that appear randomly on the glass like floating bubbles. This alchemy of color and transparency is a perfect expression of the skills of the Baobab glass-makers.

Sea Salt, Tuberose, Moss: The fragrance pays homage to the southern flower harvested at the end of summer: jasmine. This floral accord becomes more gourmet with a heart note of violet, an ode to the colors of the glass. It takes on a warm identity thanks to the base note of benzoin resinoid, which gives this fragrance an almost solar subtlety.

Product care:
* Burn within sight.
* Keep away from things that catch fire.
* Keep away from children and pets.
* When burning more than one candle at the same time, always ensure that at least 20 cm space is left between burning candles.
* Do not let candle burn for longer than one hour once the entire surface of the candle is liquid.
* Do not let the candle burn to the end.
* Do not leave a burning candle unattended or close to easily flammable objects.
* Do not place candles near a source of heat. Put candles on a heat resistant surface.
* To reduce sooting, trim the wick 0.6 cm each time the candle is to be relit.
* Avoid using in drafty areas. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
