This Reverend, spurred on by the ongoing collaboration between the world-famous name and guitarist Pete Anderson, brings on a unique T-Style experience with vintage-inspired appointments, proprietary Reverend electronics, and that dash of personalized style you've come to expect from Anderson's Reverends.
Cultivating that certain vintage element you can't help but pick up and play, the Reverend Eastsider Custom features a striking lineup of features to get you on your way. This starts with a satin-finished solid korina body in a timeless T-Style singlecut shape. Korina, a standby pick for Reverend, carries with a midweight feel and produces great acoustic resonance. This wood appears once again with this guitar's three-piece korina neck shaped in a Reverend Medium Oval profile. Seamless and classic, the neck is joined by an ebony fingerboard bearing twenty-two frets alongside a 24.75"-inch scale length. The board's 10"-14" compound radius measurement leans this feel on the fingers into a more modern, flat, and speedy persuasion as the fingerboard flattens out from the nut moving toward the body.
Anderson's appointments to this Eastsider continue on with an exciting pair of pickups. Onboard, Reverend loaded in two proprietary humbucking pickups – an HA5 humbucking neck and a Telbucker humbucking bridge. These pickups play with a fat, fiery tone perfect for pushing the proverbial envelope while a push/pull phase tone knob expands the sonic palette for a greater variety in sounds. The hardware on this Eastsider Custom facilitates easy stringing and sturdy playability with a string-thru-body hardtail bridge.
