90年代初期のアウトドアジャケットをCORONA流にリプロダクションしたアイテム。ディテールの一つ一つにコンセプトが設定されていて、ジャケット全体がとても機能的に作られています。
3枚に接がれた脇下のマチが特徴的で、アウトドアので機動性を全面的に取り入れたディテールです。
ジャケットの上からでも無理なく羽織れるとてもゆとりのある着心地は、80年代後半から90年代初期の特徴的なサイズ感でもあります。見本となったジャケットは、40~50年代にUSミリタリーのコントラクターだったメーカーがデザインしたもので、どこかミリタリーフィールドジャケットを思わせる独特な存在感があります。

EPICは米軍のレイヤリングシステム“ECWCS”などにも使用されてきました。このリップストップは、シリコンカプセル化技術という繊維の内側にシリコンバリアを施すことで、生地の吸収性を大幅に減らし、洗っても撥水性が失われない耐久機能素材です。
非常に薄く軽量ですが、リップストップ構造のため耐久性も兼ね備えており、完全撥水性はもちろん、透湿、防風、吸水速乾、耐摩耗などアウトドアや天候が急変する街中でその機能を十分発揮してくれます。
