An electric guitar icon comes together in a new, elite form as the Fender American Ultra II Stratocaster. Outfitted as part of one of Fender's most elite series of instruments, the American Ultra II Stratocaster is primed for musicality at the absolute cutting edge of innovation. This is the proverbial Strat of the future with enough sound and style to scale the next musical summit.

The American Ultra II Strat starts simply with the classic double-cutaway body shape. This body, formed from a pick of a select alder, is mobile and comfortable when carried. The specially-selected alder body is outfitted with Fender's Ultra sculpted body contours to give this Strat a truly streamlined and aerodynamic feel. Additionally, this American Ultra's sculpted neck heel gives even deeper access to high registers and frets for excellent playability.

This elite Fender model moves on from there to welcome a quartersawn maple neck wrapped in a silky and smooth Ultra Satin finish. Perfect for a seamless and comfortable touch in hand, this neck is effortlessly playable across the palm. This touch is enhanced by the maple's Modern D-shaped neck profile that fits solidly in hand while being effortlessly played from every position along its length. Totally, this neck plays with speed and comfort for the most discerning players.

Across this neck's length, another consideration for playability and comfort appears. This model's ebony fingerboard matches the quartersawn maple neck for an articulate playing experience. Twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets punctuate this ebony for an easy and familiar feel across the fingers. Ultra rolled edges enhance the comfort of this board for an effortless feeling while moving from fret to fret.

The playability on this board takes a step further with the American Ultra II series compound radius measurement. Spanning its length, this fingerboard measures at an – already speedy and modern – ten-inch radius and flattens further near the body to fourteen inches. Luminlay side dots adorn the side of the ebony for a bright set of fret markers.

Onboard this Strat, Fender took the liberty to load in three Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Strat single-coil pickups. These electronics, summoning a distinctly classic Stratocaster sound with crystal clear cleans and heated snaps, play with a high-fidelity voice and without any unwanted hum. Fender's patented S-1 switching system lands on this model to activate different wiring configurations for these pickups and enhance the tonal variety and color of this instrument even further. For fans of the iconic Stratocaster sound across time, this American Ultra II model delivers on everything that makes the name shine.

The hardware setup of this American Ultra II is also a point of conversation. A Graph Tech TUSQ nut lands at the end of the ebony board and bridges the gap between the neck and headstock. Across this headstock, six Deluxe Cast/Sealed locking tuning machines appear to facilitate easy and stable string changes. This nut is met at the opposite end of the scale with a 2-Point American Ultra Synchronized tremolo bridge with polished stainless steel block saddles and a cold rolled steel block. Ensuring sturdy intonation while allowing expressive vibrato bends in playing, this bridge is a classic Strat feature optimized for modern players.

Players gunning for the latest and most advanced features from Fender need look no further than the American Ultra II series. As a group of instruments, they deliver totally on that desire for exciting and cutting-edge sound and specifications. Fans of the Fender Stratocaster can have it all with this exceptional piece.

Sweet Strawberry, Vanilla, Amber, Musk
Scent: 555 Strawberry + Aire, Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Scent: 555 Strawberry + Aire, Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is a really light, airy scent. The berry stands out, but it’s a soft, sweet strawberry. Even though it’s sweet, it still smells fresh and clean. On my skin, I definitely get the musk, vanilla, and amber, but then there’s this light, fluffy, sugary strawberry cloud that floats over the top, and that’s what I notice the most. It reminds me a bit of Burberry Her, just a little lighter. Since this is a hair and body mist, it’s not as strong or long-lasting as a perfume, but for a mist, it performs well. I get about 2 hours on clothing and a bit more in my hair. I also really like this as a final layer when I’m layering fragrances. It’s especially nice in my hair. One thing to keep in mind is the size. The 1 oz (30mL) bottles are pretty small. They’re great if you just want to try the scent or keep something in your bag, but not ideal if you plan to use it a lot. If you enjoy Burberry Her or even EOS Strawberry Dream, I think you’ll really like this.
