Central to its performance is the integration of Nike’s ReactX midsole technology. This midsole provides a highly responsive energy return while maintaining a protective profile, featuring an additional 2 mm of stack height in the forefoot compared to its predecessor. This adjustment results in a refined 8 mm heel-to-toe drop, lowering the center of gravity to enhance stability on uneven surfaces without sacrificing impact attenuation.
The outsole utilizes the newly developed All-Terrain Compound (ATC) 2.0. This advanced rubber formulation is objectively superior, delivering a 30% increase in wet-surface friction and a 25% improvement in long-term abrasive durability. Complementing the compound is a re-engineered lug geometry designed for multi-directional bite on gravel and dirt.
