A "liminal delay," inspired by the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dweller, Bathing is not a traditional delay, modulation, or reverb, but all of those things whipped up into a concoction of its own. Ambient soundscapers, sonic miscreants, and musical expeditionists gather 'round: your sonic sauna has been drawn.

Old Blood Noise's Dweller Phase Repeater is a pedal based around what the team at Old Blood calls "phase repetition," an algorithmic combination that lands somewhere texturally between a delay, modulation, and reverb. In essence, phase repetition points to warped, modulated, and mixed-up good vibes. Bathing takes these principles a step ahead with an expanded control scheme for even deeper molding and melding of Old Blood's "phase repetition" tones. Onboard, controls for phase repetition include delay tone, delay time, and delay feedback to stoke the pedal's basic tonal palette. From there, settings for the number of phase repeating stages the delays are filtered through and the modulating character of such stages appear. Where Bathing lands you is in an encompassing pool of textural, ambient, modulated repeats that are sure to exhaust your backlog of sonic similes.

Further functions built into Bathing include a host of Old Blood's new standby features. An auxiliary footswitch works double duty as a tap tempo for more on-the-fly performance while 1/8" MIDI clock in and out connections enable Bathing to work into more established and involved MIDI clock sync-based setups. MIDI goes a step further alongside a ¼" expression control connection for enabling control over any and all parameters on Bathing. Onboard effect preset slots allow for players to build their own Bathing configurations and recall them easily for later use while a fully analog dry-through signal path and selectable trails or true bypass switching makes this pedal fluid, robust, and ready for any existing pedalboard.
