Pirates and Bounty Hunters is a small box expansion to Gale Force Nine's adding 30 new supply cards, 25 piracy job cards, 20 bounty cards, four new set-up cards, three story cards, two ship cards, two ship models and 41 additional tokens.
Pirates and Bounty Hunters adds heavy and aggressive player interaction to the base game, in the form of piracy and bounty jobs. The new piracy jobs give the opportunity for players to raid and steal other players goods, by passing the new boarding test and then a showdown test. Each Piracy job has the new subjective morality, meaning that it could be immoral or not depending on who the leader is!
Not everyone in the 'verse is safe to carry on your crew; the Bounty is a special type of job that always lists three of the 'verses most wanted, you can deliver those most wanted on your own crew for a reward, or take them from another crew by force or even take the crew from someone else who is already trying to get the bounty!
With Pirates and Bounty Hunters comes two new ships for players to choose, the S.S Walden, though slow it has a massive cargo capacity so is a great choice for shippers as well as pirates who want to take the most loot that they can. The Interceptor is fast and small, especially designed to track and bring in fugitives.
Add all new supplies and jobs as well as Havens for a safe place to lay low, along with new set-up cards for starting the game in different ways and new story cards bring all new challenges to Firefly: The Board Game. Remember, a Captain's job is simple; find a ship, find a crew, keep flying.
