The GJ Motorsports billet aluminium 3rd brake light for the 2021+ Ford F-150 and Super-Duty with Camera is the first light to market that allows for installation of 3 Baja Designs S2 lights and retains the factory styling of the light.

VEHICLE FITMENT:

2021+ F-150
2021+ F-150 Raptor
2017+ Ford Super Duty (F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600)

  • Integrated gasket to seal the light enclosure to the cab
  • Plug and play integration with the factory wiring for brake, marker and cargo lights
  • Wiring harness included as standard
  • No drill installation, uses factory mounting holes
  • Three 1W Red LED marker and brake lights

Note: This housing is for trucks with the cargo camera in the 3rd brake light, if you do not have a camera you need the 2015+ housing which can be found here.

ANTENNA MOUNT:

The antenna mount option adds a standard brass NMO antenna mount to the top of the housing, The mount includes 17ft of RG58 cable terminated with a PL-269 connector ready to plug straight into your radio. Please note the base of the antenna mount is not powder coated it is raw brass.

Wiring Harness Options

All wiring harnesses are cut to length and pre-terminated with weatherpack connectors and wrapped in soft loom for easy installation in your truck. The factory integration for the marker lights and cargo light uses the factory connector and does not require any cutting or soldering.

BASIC HARNESS

This harness provides integration of the 3 marker/brake light LEDs with factory wiring harness as well as connecting the center light to the cargo light circuit. Two additional circuits are provided to connect the outer lights to the factory upfitter switches in the passenger kick panel.

REVERSE LIGHT HARNESS

This harness has all the features of the basic harness, but also connects the center light to the brake light circuit so that it comes on automatically when the truck is placed in reverse.

STOP/TAIL/TURN HARNESS WITH REVERSE

This harness includes a stop/tail/turn controller to integrate the outer to lights with the factory brake/turn signals. It includes inputs for connecting to your aux switches for:

  • Master power to turn the system on/off
  • Strobe Function
  • Strobe pattern change (momentary switch to be optionally mounted in the dash)
  • Constant on override to disable the turn/brake integration
  • Center Light Functions as additional reverse light when shifted into reverse

Y SPLITTER - 2 WAY

This allows you to connect two lights to the same aux switch with a pre-terminated Y cable. This cable is terminated with weatherpack connectors and is plug and play.

Lighting Options

We recommend going with the Baja Designs S2 Sports lights when mounted with the GJ Third Brake Lights. If you plan to use this setup as a chase light for off-road events, we recommend sticking with the S2 Sports in Amber Driving/Combo. This is not blinding to those following you, but bright enough to be seen. Additionally, the Driving/Combo pattern gives you 2 spot lenses rear facing and 2 wide lenses rear facing so you visibilty directly behind you and off-axis.

If you intend to use these lights as work lights, then you can go with the S2 Pro for the outer lights. For the center light, we highly recommend using the S2 Sport in a Work/Scene/Flood pattern as the S2 Pro is a little high on power draw for the OEM wiring, since it is tied into your cargo lights.

Overall, the most popular setup is to run S2 Sports in Amber Driving/Combo for the outer lights and a single S2 Sport Work/Scene for the center light.

Must have prior knowlege
Format: Paperback
After reading the reviews, it seemed like this was the perfect book to start learning about software engineering. Unfortunately, it is not. it assumes some program knowledge. I downloaded and installed Visual Studio Code, Ubuntu, and Docker Desktop. On page 22, it says to use the docker build command. I did, and I got a file or folder not found error. I've spent 4 hours searching the internet for an answer to this. I cant find it. This book is supposed to be written for absolute beginners. Apparently, it is not, as I, a beginner, am stuck 22 pages into it...

My new best friend
Format: Paperback
I feel ashamed holding this book in my hand wherever I go. I use a bag now to hide it. This is true that coding is on computer, but when you memorize the basics you waste less time googling.

Another quality Quick Start book
Format: Paperback
Haven't gotten that far into the book yet, but so far the material is good. IMO, the book would be far better if it had a spiral binding like the Python Quick Start books I bought. Programming type books are much easier and better to use when they lay flat. This would probably make the book more expensive to purchase, but would be well worth it. The contents of the book are well laid out starting with simple basic topics and progressing through the more advanced ones. The chapters on Asynchronous JavaScript and JQuery were, IMHO, light in the amount of information provided. The book is designed/written to provide a "quick start" on JS, but I think that there could have been more details provided for these two topics. All in all this book provides an adequate introduction to doing JS coding. Any plans on doing an advanced Javascript book to cover topics like map and other advanced programming constructs?

Great Javascript resource for learning the basics!

This book was a great resource for helping me to learn Javascript. It walked me through step by step and provided me with tools to build some solid skills. I found it immensely helpful and I think you will too.
