Factor 55 Tree Saver Strap is not constructed like typical recovery/snatch straps.  The Tree Saver Strap is not designed to store energy from stretch. 

They are designed to serve as a versatile link to attach to trees and/or vehicles and are constructed of an ultra low stretch (low energy storage) polyester, not high stretch nylon like typical snatch straps. 

The applications vary from easily attaching to vehicles that are not equipped with recovery points, to using your winch and Tree Saver Strap to attach to the closest recovery point or nearest tree.  

The inherit flat shape of the straps prevent the straps from rolling and twisting when attached to tubular shapes like bumper stingers, steering components, and nerf bars.  

We prefer flat straps over round ropes for this reason. Even polyester webbing materials retain a small element of material stretch and since the total energy stored is a function of the % of stretch and the overall length of the strap, we have designed the strap to be the perfect length to wrap around a tree and still retain the necessary webbing overlap and stitch count necessary for the rated loads. 

The overall length of the Tree Saver Strap is 8 feet, and this is reduced to only 4 feet long when used in the common basket configuration. 

Low stretch/energy storage equates to less recoil energy during a possible component failure.

These straps are manufactured in the USA to Factor 55 specifications.

Fun Toy for Large Dogs, but Hard to Grab from Flat Surfaces
I gave this to a large dog to see how it would hold up during play. He really enjoys it and stays engaged with it, especially during active play sessions. The material feels durable enough to handle a bigger dog’s strength. It’s bright and easy to spot, which helps when playing outdoors. It’s clearly designed for interactive play. One thing I noticed is that it can be a little difficult for him to pick up off the ground. The shape doesn’t give much to grab onto when it’s lying flat. Once he gets it, he enjoys it, but getting started can take a second. It’s still a fun toy, just something to keep in mind. Works best when tossed or handed to them.

An absolute powerhouse for heavy chewers—survived the "same-day" test!
Finding a toy that can survive a large dog is usually an expensive game of trial and error. More often than not, new toys end up destroyed in the exact same day we buy them. I bought this because my dogs do not want “gentle play.” They want something they can really grab, shake, and try to win. This has been a great tug toy for that. The material feels thick, the stitching has held up, and it has enough grip that I can keep control without it slipping. It is also easy to rinse off after backyard dirt and dog drool. This is the kind of toy that actually gets used instead of ending up ignored in the corner.

My Scottie loves it!
This item arrived in a sealed plastic bag to protect it during shipping. My Scottish Terrier LOVES this toy! She's the queen of tug-o-war, and the more she can fling a toy around, the better, which makes this one a winner in her mind. It's very comfy for us to hold onto while she tries her best to yank our arm off with it, since she can really get a good grip on her side. My Westie wasn't impressed, but she's not really a "toy" dog, to begin with. So far, it has withstood the might of the Scottish Terrier alligator jaws, despite her trying her best to destroy it, so hopefully she'll be able to enjoy it for awhile. Great quality, great durability, made in the USA, and for a reasonable price, it's a winner in our house!

Our dogs love it. A great, indestructible, chewing experience.
Our dogs love playing with this wagalicious tuggfinity toy. In my pic you can see that they fell asleep playing with it. They chased each other around the house with it and played tug a war with it until they exhausted themselves so I’d say this is a huge hit with our fur baby’s. At 9”x7” it’s a perfect size for our big dogs. The material it’s made from (TPR) it super tough, durable and has a bit of flexibility to it and they can sink their teeth into it and tug a war with it without it getting chew marks or falling apart. It gives them something to chew in that’s not hard but is soft enough to give them great chew satisfaction. It’s a bit heavy which is good for my big dogs too because its weight keeps them active. Non toxic as well. I’d say this is a great value and because they love it so much then I love it too.
