This Gibson Custom Shop SG Standard Reissue is in very good condition. IT has no scratches or dents.
In 1961 Gibson introduced a redefined version of the Iconic Les Paul. The new Les Paul featured a double cutaway that allowed full access to the entire fingerboard with such ease and comfort, two Hum-bucking pickups, a tune-o-matic bridge, block inlays , & a stop tailpiece or vibrato. Gibson honored Les Paul's request in late 1963 to remove his name from the current Les Paul model thus giving birth to the guitar we now know as the SG.
This particular Custom Shop SG pays tribute to the model introduced in 1961. It has a smooth easy playing neck profile that has plenty of shoulder that's not too small nor too large, the classic small pickguard, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, a bound fingerboard w/ a 12" radius, & classic humbucker pickups. These particular pickups have such great clarity when pushing any amps threshold. They aren't too hot nor are they completely under wound. They sit well with any Marshall, Orange, Fender, etc...
