This book is David Bailey's portrayal of the landscapes and personalities of the mystical and densely forested Naga Hills, part of the complex mountain barrier between India and Myanmar (Burma), and home to the Naga tribes, "those with pierced ears" in Burmese. Bailey's desire to visit the Naga Hills has been with him since youth, yet access had been continually restricted because of war and unrest-until 2012 when that wish finally became a reality.
Bailey had initially wanted to photograph the story of the last headhunters in the region, but in typical Bailey style, he needed to improvise when things didn't quite go to plan: he recalls for example cutting though difficult terrain (at times needing to walk beside the four-wheel drives), becoming lost for hours, only to be discovered by armed men who directed him to a party at a guard post, where he proceeded to dance the night away with the soldiers... This is the newest book exploring Bailey's ongoing fascination with India, the previous being his Delhi Dilemma of 2012, and by no means the last-for in Bailey's words, "India seems endless."
Why the Naga Hills first, where is this land of mystery? Mostly in my imagination. A place that no one I knew had been to ... did I read of it in the two years I spent doing national service in Malaya and Singapore? It had no pyramids on the Nile, no hidden city in the Himalayas like Shangri-La. It's most likely I read about it in the writings of Rudyard Kipling. David Bailey

These pillows perform wonderfully and they hold up!

I have had these pillows for 5 years, so mine is not in brand new condition in this photo but they still appear pretty good and function wonderfully. I recommend these to others looking for a soft but supportive pillow. They are the standard microfiber cooling ones. I have one and my daughter (7) has the other. We use them every night and they are just the perfect amount of medium-softness for both of us despite us being very different in size! Still fluff back up, have just enough support and height or thickness in my opinion (I don’t like very firm microfiber pillows as much, and I don’t like the feather pillows that aren’t goose down because they get crunchy and flat). Love these pillows, the price is super reasonable for the product they provide. They have held up this long, I’d say they are of good quality. I’ve just ordered another set for a visit to my mothers house! Our favorite pillows!

Super Comfortable and Easy to Sleep On

HIMOON Shredded Memory Foam Pillows are honestly way more comfortable than I expected—they’re soft but still supportive, and I like that I can adjust and fluff them to fit how I sleep. They feel good for both side and back sleeping, and they don’t go flat like some cheaper pillows I’ve tried. After using them for a while, they’ve held up well and still feel cozy every night. Overall, just a really comfortable, no-stress pillow that makes it easy to fall asleep 👍

Good pillows; wear a mask when fluffing and airing out

Searched everywhere for comfortable pillows, finally found this set. Perfect density and firmness, very comfortable. Downside is that they were covered in some type of white powder which dispersed as I was fluffing them up. Fiberglass, maybe? I recommend customers fluff and air them outside before use, and wear a mask. Pillows had an industrial smell, which dissipated after 20 minutes in the fresh air.

Great pillows
