PRODUCT DETAILS
The 80V max (40V max X2) XGT Brushless 14" Power Cutter with AFT and Electric Brake (GEC01PL4) has the power to cut through various masonry and metal materials with all the benefits and convenience of cordless operation. The 14” wheel diameter allows for single pass cuts up to 5” deep in various masonry and metal materials. Model GEC01PL4 is a kit and includes two 40V max XGT 8.0Ah Batteries (BL4080F) and an efficient 40V max XGT Dual Port Rapid Optimum Charger (DC40RB). The benefits of a cordless power cutter over gas include no oil or mixing, lower noise, less maintenance, zero emissions, no pull starts, and lighter weight. This means reduced operator fatigue, instant starts, cost savings, and the ability to use the power cutter indoors. It has an integrated water delivery system with a water flow adjustment knob that continuously feeds water for OSHA Table 1 Compliance in concrete cutting applications The belt-drive design provides smoother operation with lower vibration. The GEC01PL4 has a Makita -built brushless motor combined with two 40V max XGT batteries to deliver the performance equivalent to a 75.6cc gas-powered model. The brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life and can deliver up to 5,300 RPM.

- OUTLAST: Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions
- XGT battery power allows for immediate start-up and eliminates the hassles of engine pull starts and managing proper fuel/oil mixing

Excellent Coffee - A World Class French Press
The unit is elegantly styled and durable. The double wall is noticeable and keeps the coffee hot for multiple cups. I love the fact that every component is stainless steel - no plastics in the product at all. The unit is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I would gift this to my coffee connoisseur friends!

So many things to LOVE - you should buy it.
So glad I bought this french press!! I am honestly surprised it wasn't more expensive for this quality. My beverage stays very hot while brewing (that was a problem with my old glass one). I typically transfer to a travel mug so not sure how long it would stay hot but my guess is a long time. The double wall all stainless steel retains heat, is very well made and sturdy. I don't have to worry about glass cracking when I add boiling water (my old one cracked) . I also have no fear of dropping it because it is so solid but I don't think I will drop it because the handle is so easy to hold and sturdy. It pours well, no dribbling and I love the coffee bean picture on the lid that shows you how to turn the lid to pour it. My FAVORITE feature is the measurement markings inside. Why don't all French presses have this!!! There is a bit of resistance and a little metal on metal noise when you depress the filter which might bother some people. It is metal on metal and it is a snug fit so you have to push slowly...like 5 seconds instead of 2-3 but it means zero grounds in your cup. It keeps me in the moment and is still easy to use. Also cleans up easily and looks very nice. I would recommend to everyone. I LOVE it.
UPDATE:
I have been using basically daily for 2 months and still LOVE it. Works and acts like new. The metal on metal noise disappeared after 2-4 weeks. I am not really sure when. one day I just suddenly realized it wasn't making that noise anymore. I would 100% buy it again if I needed another one.

Great French ress! No plastic. Beautiful look, easy to use & clean. Great value.
This French press is great. Easy to use. Easy to clean. A great size for two. It is all stainless steel and able to be in the dishwasher, but I wash the plunger parts by hand. The lid has NO problem places that could mold that water can get into. It is definitely a good value since it will last for years. It is portable. It is a lovely appearance of stainless - not too modern and not to fancy. The filter system is what one would expect and works so well. This is my first French press but I did lost of research and I feel this is the best for the cost. The coffee is great, the clean up is not a big deal and there is NO plastic involved!!!

I really like this french press. It is made from high quality stainless steel and does not rust or show signs of degradation.
Easy to take apart and clean.
Everything fits and works properly, the filters work fine.
