The story of the painting:

One night, just as I was falling asleep, I suddenly, as bolt from the blue, got a sort of vision. I saw fragments of how I was painting a very specific painting. I saw how I started with a sponge and pink paint in one of the corners, and I saw the colour scheme of pink-purple-blue-turquoise and I saw dots.

The next day I started and I did the pink paint in the corner. After that I let the colours take me wherever they wanted. The painting slowly showed itself to me. Every dot telling me where it wanted to be. And it’s been teaching me how important happiness is in the creative process. The happiness that comes from within. 

If I for some reason wasn’t aligned with that inner happiness the dots went quiet until I aligned myself again. The painting teaches us that the happiness is always there inside us.
