La BMW R18 impose le respect par sa présence et son gros bicylindre boxer. Mais sur la route, beaucoup de pilotes ressentent une légère tension dans les bras et les épaules au fil des kilomètres, car le guidon d'origine demande de s'avancer pour aller le chercher. C'est précisément ce point que nos préparateurs ont voulu corriger en concevant ces réhausses de guidon dans notre atelier FCR Original.

Le principe est simple et redoutablement efficace. En s'intercalant sur les pontets d'origine, nos réhausses rapprochent le guidon de 25 mm vers le pilote et le rehaussent d'autant. Ce déplacement, qui paraît modeste sur le papier, change tout une fois en selle : le buste se redresse, les épaules se détendent, les poignets retrouvent un angle naturel. Sur les longues sorties comme dans les trajets du quotidien, la fatigue recule et le plaisir de conduite reprend le dessus.

Nous avons pensé ce kit pour qu'il soit complet et autonome. Vous recevez les deux réhausses, les quatre vis BTR M8x55 qui remplacent la visserie Torx d'origine, et surtout deux durites plus longues. Ce dernier point fait toute la différence : en rehaussant le guidon, on éloigne les commandes des durites de frein d'origine, devenues trop courtes. Nos durites adaptées garantissent un montage propre, sans tension parasite sur le circuit, comme nous l'exigeons sur chacune de nos préparations.

Le montage est entièrement réversible. Aucune découpe, aucune modification définitive sur la moto : les réhausses se fixent sur les points d'ancrage existants, et vous pouvez à tout moment revenir à la configuration d'origine sans la moindre trace. C'est une liberté que nous tenons à offrir, parce qu'une moto bien personnalisée reste une moto que l'on maîtrise de bout en bout.

Côté style, la discrétion est volontaire. La ligne compacte des réhausses s'intègre dans le poste de pilotage sans le surcharger, en respectant la silhouette massive et racée de la R18. La finition Noir satiné se fond dans les éléments sombres de la moto pour un rendu sobre et homogène, la finition Brossée joue la carte du contraste mécanique et révèle le travail de la matière, et la finition Polie apporte un éclat plus affirmé pour ceux qui veulent attirer le regard. Trois directions, une même exigence de cohérence visuelle.

Chaque réhausse est conçue, contrôlée et emballée dans notre atelier FCR Original, à Chauvigny. Avant de rejoindre notre catalogue, cette pièce a été pensée par nos préparateurs avec le même soin que celui apporté à nos motos d'exception. C'est cette exigence, du dessin au colis, qui fait la différence entre un simple accessoire et une pièce signée FCR Original.

I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.

A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!
