More than a few V-Lock users have indicated that the V-Lock works great on the boat, but the gear mounted to the V-Lock insert is cumbersome to stow or store when not in use because of the insert sticking out. 

Here is the solution: V-Lock Storage Dock Strips.

A length or StarBoard with the V-Lock insert shape cut out of the center and stainless screws it will last for years..

Buy in any length you need, the full board has spaces for 9 V-Lock inserts about 2" apart, but you can order any length you need depending on the number of inserts you need to accommodate.  

You can also cut them apart yourself and use them below decks, in lockers, in the garage, on the dock or dock cart you use to transport your gear to the boat.

Anywhere you do not need the full strength of a V-Lock base you can use a V-Lock Storage Dock Strip.

PLEASE NOTE: no inserts are included, it is just the storage strip.
