Stainless Steel Spirit Lamp
The Bunsen burner is a small gas burner in which the combustion gas partially sucks in the combustion air itself, based on the principle of a jet pump.
In addition to the Teclu burner, the Bunsen burner is often used in the chemical laboratory to heat material samples or liquids. The Bunsen burner is named after Robert Wilhelm Bunsen (1811-1899); however, the original invention comes from Michael Faraday and was decisively improved in Heidelberg in 1855 by Peter Desaga, the university’s instrument maker.
The laboratory gas burner consists of an approximately 15 cm long piece of tube in which the gas flows upwards and the combustion air itself sucks through adjustable openings based on the principle of a jet pump. With modern burners, a grid or fine holes on the top of the burner prevent the flame from flashing back into the burner. The burner usually works with propane, butane or town / natural gas.
The burner stands on a heavy base to which the fuel gas supply is also attached. A pipe that resembles a small chimney is perpendicular to it. The fuel gas passes through an opening through which an oxidant, usually air, is drawn in. The opening is adjustable in width. At the top of the tube, the gas is ignited and burned. When the air supply is open, the oxidant and fuel gas mix in the Bunsen burner. The flame then burns like a blue and hot premixed flame. When the opening is closed, the fuel gas mixes only with the oxidizer at the top tube outlet and develops a lower temperature. Such a diffusion flame, also called a luminous flame, is cooler up to 900 ° C and looks yellow. Intermediate forms of the flame are called partial premix flames. The flame temperature is adjustable between 350 and approx. 1000 ° C (Teclu burner 1300 ° C). The flame is divided into core, mantle and the almost invisible flame edge. The core temperature is about 250-550 ° C, the mantle (depending on the source between 1000 ° C and 1200 ° C) and rim (around 900 ° C), on the other hand, are significantly hotter, but less easy to see because here the gas burns almost completely. The cones created with a premixed flame and, to a lesser extent, with a partially premixed flame, are divided into an oxidizing flame (outside) and a reducing flame (inside), with the highest temperatures at their transition.

Pup Loves It, Some Other Notes
Color: Orange
We've had this for about six months and my 75 lb, 14-month-old German Shepherd pup LOVES IT. Her favorite is "Crazy Bouncing Mode." In fact, she doesn't care much for the normal mode. She chews it a lot - even drops it in her water bowl at times - and it's still going strong. This is a great purchase. It's nice hands-off entertainment. Do know that it is heavy compared to a normal ball - if your pup likes dropping it on the ground like mine does, it will land with a hard "thud," even with the included sleeve. Hopefully you don't have downstairs neighbors. Also know that the cover that goes over the charging port is removable and your dog may choke on it if they chew it in just the right manner. Definitely only let the pup play with it while supervised. All in all, great toy.

A total joke.
Pattern Name: Cage Ball, Size: Large - 4 Inch / 8.5 oz
I was so hopeful and really wanted this to be as good as the sellers claimed. After all, they boast of a lifetime replacement (a joke and be sure to read the ridiculous terms lol). I have a "pocket pitty" and she loves rubber toys. There is not much I have found that can withstand her force; however, reading reviews AND seeing their warranty, I wanted to give it a try. Typically, I stick with Java wood and XL super dense knotted ropes, as that has been the only thing that can last any real amount of time. Thankfully, she never goes after our stuff or household items/furniture, just her toys. The ball arrived. I checked it over. It looked semi promising. I was hopeful. The design does allow for them to leverage their paw strength by getting it between the rubber bars and then pull with their teeth. Within 3 minutes of her having it, she already had a bar ripped off. Within 5 minutes, she had 3 bars ripped off. Don't get me wrong, she had a blast. But this is by no means strong enough for an actual aggressive chewer. Perhaps there is just not anything rubber that can handle her jaws, but now I can't get a replacement because the warranty only covers if the product is defective. It doesn't cover chewing damage (on any of their products). The advertising is very misleading so be aware. Why a replacement if she will just destroy it again you may wonder? She loves to go after a ball, but now I know she can kill this one, I keep them in a drawer and only let her play fetch with it while supervised. I will say though, I you have a puppy, I think this would be great for them as long as they are not extra large. The material has give, which is nice. But if you have a real aggressive chewer, don't waste the money.
